Judicial Training Institutions
European Judicial Training Network
Founded in 2000 under the Bordeaux Charter, EJTN is an international non-profit association governed by Belgian law. EJTN brings together the judicial training institutions of all European Union Member States to pursue a goal of general European interest: developing and implementing training and exchange activities for members of the European judiciary.
These activities cover both initial and continuous training and are carried out in close cooperation with our members, associated members, observers and partners.
The National Institute of Justice has been an observer member of the European Judicial Training Network of magistrates' schools of the EU Member States since 1 July 2016, when the EU-Moldova Association Agreement entered into force. The application for observer status was approved during the General Assembly of the Network held in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 12-13 June 2014.
