Students from ASEM's National College of Commerce visited the National Institute of Justice

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the National Institute of Justice opened its doors to 50 students from the second year of the National College of Commerce of the Academy of Economic Studies from Moldova, "Jurisprudence" specialty. The visit gave the young people the opportunity to enter the atmosphere of an institution that, through its mission, contributes to the training of professionals in the field of justice and to the promotion of the values ​​of the rule of law.

In the opening, the director of the National Institute of Justice, Ramona Strugariu, addressed them with a welcome message, emphasizing the importance of cultivating interest in the legal field from the school days. At the same time, he encouraged the students that, regardless of the profession they will choose, to do it in an informed and assumed way, with the sincere desire to contribute to the future of the Republic of Moldova, here, at home.

During the visit, the students learned details about the admission process at the National Institute of Justice, the selection criteria and the stages of the competition. The audience Dan Furculita, candidate for the position of prosecutor, and Svetlana Brătescu, candidate for the position of judge, spoke about the motivation that led them to pursue a career in justice and about the stages of their training at the Institute.

For their part, INJ graduates - Octavian Bivol, detached prosecutor and head of the continuing training Section, and Victoria Ojog, candidate for the position of judge and main specialist in the Initial Training Section - shared from their professional experience, the challenges and satisfactions of the job, as well as the impact of the training offered by the National Institute of Justice.

The visit ended with an interactive question and answer session, followed by a guided tour of the Institute's most representative training rooms. At the end, the students had the opportunity to put on the mantle of judge or prosecutor and thus experience, in a symbolic way, the status of judge and prosecutor.
