Representatives of the French public agency "Expertise France" visited the National Institute of Justice
The management of the National Institute of Justice, in the person of director Ramona Strugariu and deputy director Ghennadi Epure, had on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, a meeting with the representatives of the French public agency "Expertise France", in the context of the launch of a new project financially supported by the European Union.
The agency's delegation included Lena Bonnemains, project manager in the Governance Department; Pauline Hoerner, international expert and legal adviser to the President of the Republic of Moldova in the field of recovering criminal assets and fighting corruption; Lise Chipault, French magistrate; and Lucia Popescu, expert from the Republic of Moldova and member of the Superior Council of Magistracy. The meeting was also attended by Skye Christensen, Senior Advisor for Electoral Support and Democratic Resilience at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The purpose of the meeting was to start the dialogue and identify concrete opportunities for collaboration in the field of preventing and combating corruption in the process of joining the European Union, with an emphasis on strengthening professional training capacities, both in the initial training and in the continuous training of actors in the justice system.
The discussions concerned the organization of trainings and public lessons held by international experts, the potential support of international exchanges of experience, as well as cooperation in the development of relevant teaching materials and guides, the development of electronic courses or the creation of modern training tools, in order to respond to the immediate needs of professionals in the fields of anti-corruption and combating organized crime.
