Forum of Intellectual Property Judges 2024

Dear representatives of the judicial system of the Republic of Moldova,

We invite you to participate in Forum of Intellectual Property Judges 2024, under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The event will take place on October 9-10, 2024, in a hybrid format (in person - at the WIPO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and online - through the platform Zoom).

The goal Forum of judges in the field of intellectual property is to respond to the request of Member States to create a dialogue between judges, given that national and regional courts are increasingly faced with new questions in intellectual property cases. The forum provides a platform for the exchange of information and practices on common problems faced by the judicial system. The 2023 edition of the event brought together 360 judges from 101 countries and four regional courts.

Participation in the forum is accessible only to members of the judiciary and members of appeal bodies dealing with intellectual property disputes.

Judges who wish to participate in physical format at the proceedings Judges' Forum from this year will be responsible for associated travel and accommodation costs.
