The delegation of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), visiting the National Institute of Justice

On Monday, February 3, 2025, the National Institute of Justice was visited by the delegation of the European Public Law Organization, led by the President of the EPLO Board of Directors – Prof. Spyridon Flogaitis.

During the meeting with the Interim Director of INJ, Ecaterina Popa, topics were discussed regarding the opportunities to strengthen the professional capacities of the Institute's beneficiaries, in the context of the process of alignment with European standards and the perspective of our country's accession to the European Union.

The discussions highlighted areas of common interest in the judicial training segment, outlining several possibilities for collaboration, including: organizing training events and activities, facilitating the exchange of expertise, including through study visits and internships, developing the skills of national trainers in the field of European Union law. Also mentioned was the usefulness of digitization and online training for the beneficiaries of the National Institute of Justice, as well as the Kirkpatrick model in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

EPLO, with its main headquarters in Athens, Greece, is an international organization with an academic and legal profile, whose objective is to research and promote knowledge in the fields of public law and governance. Through its activity, EPLO covers a wide area of ​​legal concerns, from national and European public law, to human rights and environmental law.
