The final ceremony of the National Law Competition at the National Institute of Justice

Well done to all the teams who had the courage and ambition to participate in this competition! They had an excellent performance and we await them with wide open doors at the National Institute of Justice.

The National Competition in Law, an event that brought together for three days the elite students from law faculties in the country, ended on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. The competition, organized by the Ministry of Justice and the National Institute of Justice, in partnership with the Office of the Council of Europe in Chisinau, the United Nations Children's Fund and the Union of Jurists of the Republic of Moldova, designated its winners after complex trials.

After the rigorous evaluation of the performances in the stages of solving the legal cases and simulating the trial, the jury deliberated and awarded the following distinctions: the first place was obtained by the team of the Academy "Ștefan cel Mare" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the second place went to the representatives of the State University of Moldova, and the third place - to the team of the State University "Bogdan Petriceicu Hașdeu" from Cahul. Special prizes were also awarded for the most persuasive plea and the best orator of the competition.

During the award ceremony, the jury members provided detailed feedback to the three finalist teams that participated in the process simulation stage, highlighting both the strengths of the performances and the aspects that require improvement.

On the occasion of the end of the competition, congratulations and awards were given by the Minister of Justice, Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, Director of the National Institute of Justice, Ramona Strugariu, President of the Lawyers' Union of the Republic of Moldova, Maxim Lebedinschi, President of the Lawyers' Union of Moldova, Dorin Popescu, the president of IPRE, Iulian Groza, other members of the jury and contributors to the success of this project, which we want to we organize every year and let it become a beautiful tradition.
