INJ beneficiaries can apply to the Scholarship Program offered by ERA

The National Institute of Justice brings to the attention of its beneficiaries the possibility of obtaining scholarships for participation in the professional training courses and programs offered by the European Law Academy (ERA) for the year 2026.

The ERA 2026 Scholarship Program is aimed at lawyers, judges, prosecutors, civil servants and other practitioners from EU Member States, candidate and potential candidate countries. Details of available trainings and duration are available HERE.

Scholarships can fully or partially cover the participation fee, accommodation and travel expenses, thus facilitating access to high-quality professional training in the field of European Union law.

Beneficiaries of ERA scholarships must keep the following in mind:

  • scholarships are awarded for a single event, and candidates who have already benefited from a scholarship cannot apply for new funding;
  • registration to the event is not allowed before the decision on the scholarship application is received;
  • the online application must state the relevance of the course to professional practice and the reasons why the costs of participation cannot be borne by the candidate;
  • selected candidates will then be asked to submit a report on how they have used the scholarship in their professional activity.

The deadlines for submitting applications are: two months before physical events and one month before online events.
