A new book title in the INJ Library

The library of the National Institute of Justice has been completed with a new edition - "Modern special investigations against crime", authors - Boris Glavan, Valerii Cușnir, Alexandru Cicala and Ilie Botnari.

The work addresses, in a systematic and applied manner, the issue of special investigative measures and techniques used in combating contemporary forms of crime, analyzing the national normative framework, correlations with European and international standards, as well as relevant aspects of judicial practice. The importance of the balance between the efficiency of investigative activities and respect for the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person is highlighted, providing theoretical benchmarks and practical solutions for professionals involved in the criminal process.

The topicality of the topic is determined by the continuous evolution of the criminal phenomenon and the need to adapt investigative tools to the new social and technological realities, in accordance with the requirements of the rule of law and the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights. In this context, the work constitutes a valuable support for judges, prosecutors, lawyers and other practitioners of criminal law.

We thank Mr. Boris Glavan for the donation offered to the Library of the National Institute of Justice, thus contributing to the consolidation of the specialized book fund and to the support of continuous professional training activities.
