The trilateral collaboration agreement between the National Institute of Justice, the State University of Moldova and the General Prosecutor's Office was signed

The development of the theoretical and practical knowledge of professionals in the legal sector, as well as the promotion of legal culture at the national level, is the purpose of the Collaboration Agreement concluded on October 7, 2024, between the National Institute of Justice, the State University of Moldova and the General Prosecutor's Office.

The document was signed by the leaders of the three institutions - Adrian Cerbu, Interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Igor Șarov, Rector of the State University of Moldova, and Ion Munteanu, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Moldova.

The signatory parties expressed their commitment to implement the objectives of the Collaboration Agreement in order to strengthen the rule of law and improve the quality of the judicial act for the benefit of society.

The trilateral partnership provides for the creation of a Center for Research and Judicial Practice, the intensification of advanced legal research in various fields of law, focusing on alignment with European standards and the reform of the legal system, the organization of scientific events and training sessions, especially with themes from criminal matters, such as conferences, seminars and workshops. Also, special emphasis will be placed on the development of professional skills of students, audience and practitioners, through simulated scenarios that reflect real cases, within forensic investigation laboratories properly equipped with the support of partners.
